Keyboard Shortcuts are special key combinations on your keyboard that provide alternative fast access to common commands.
These shortcuts are shown:
- at the right edge of the drop down menus (e.g. File | New = ctrl + N); and
- in the tool tips of a toolbar button (e.g. Selection Tool = S).
If you plan to spend a substantial amount of time designing printed circuit boards it is well worth the time to learn the shortcuts for the commands you use frequently.
